A fault code tells you which circuit reported a problem. It does not tell you what is wrong. Reading the code takes two minutes; working out whether it is the sensor, the wiring, or the thing the sensor is measuring is the job you are actually paying for.
We use manufacturer-level software with live data, actuator tests and guided fault finding, plus an oscilloscope for the electrical faults that software cannot see.
The diagnostic charge is £54 and covers up to an hour. If you have the repair done here, it comes off the bill.

Before you book
Check what your car is already due.
The reg check tells you when the MOT runs out and what the last tester flagged. It often changes what you actually need booking in for.
